The Edgewater Nurse Aide will be part of a new and innovative care team for Seniors. Assists residents with all aspects of physical care and daily living activities. Allows residents to function at maximum capabilities and communicates with resident in a respectful and empathetic manner so that the resident’s individuality and rights are promoted and maintained. Provides social, engaging, learning and stimulation care model.
Must be "out-of-the-box thinker" and possess true passion for working with seniors. Absolutely must be a true team-member who will provide daily cares assuring an engaged, active life for each resident including leading activites, cooking, housekeeping and some laundry. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Must have a nursing assistant certification as verified through the various registries and have relevant training in all aspects of certified nursing assistant responsibilities. Must have an acceptable background check and no record of adult abuse. EOE. Drug and Tobacco Free.
