KEEPING THE PROMISE
Neighbor helping neighbor,
keeping our promise to one another
is what being a Good Samaritan is all
about. It’s Wesley’s promise backed by love,
compassion and the generosity of
our family, friends and neighbors like you.

Your financial support enables Wesley to help those residents who have outlived their financial resources and are dependent upon Medicaid and the generosity of friends like you.
The Good Samaritan/Good Shepherd Fund is the Wesley way of ensuring that our residents always have a home at Wesley, regardless of their ability to pay the full cost of their care. Wesley is committed to providing the highest quality, long-term care. Doing so requires us to utilize a number of funding sources, including private contributions. Support from you and many others enable us to provide financial aid to our residents who have exhausted their personal financial resources.
Your tax-deductible donation helps meet these anticipated financial needs:
• One Week $193
• One Month $820
• Half of a year $5,605
There are several opportunities that you can support financially:
These funds provide financial support to residents and participants. The endowment fund’s principal is left untouched, with the annual income used to support residents’ needs throughout the year. Your gift creates a lasting legacy for all who follow in your footsteps.

Legacy Society
This dedicated group includes donors who have informed us of their intent to include Wesley in their estate planning. All donors who make gift plans that will benefit Wesley or one of our communities, such as a bequest, a trust or a life income gift, are recognized as members of that communities’ society.
Joining the Legacy Society is easy! Once you have made a decision to make an estate gift to Wesley be sure to:
- Document your gift. With the help of professional advisors, include a gift to Wesley Retirement Services- through a bequest, life insurance or living trust – in your estate plan. A gift of any size qualifies you for membership.
- Notify Wesley. Send the Advancement Office a copy of your will, trust agreement or insurance policy. If you prefer, you may copy just the relevant part of your will or trust agreement or the cover and beneficiary pages of your insurance policy. If you and your spouse both seek membership and have separate wills, please submit copies of both documents. This applies to trust agreement and insurance policies.
- Submit a Gift Plan Information Form to Wesley. Complete the gift plan information form and return it to the Wesley. We will keep the details of your gift confidential and you are welcome to decline public recognition.
